The crash data from Oregon Department of Transportation conflicts within their own reports as this county data from 2012 - 2021 Motor Vehicle Crashes does not show the same numbers as the Crash Summary 2021, however, the numbers are fairly close and consistent for general locational awareness.
This data lags because it all takes time from the incident through the reporting process such that the most recent data is usually from a few years prior to the current year. But these trends are fairly consistent year to year.
The data clearly shows that while passengers in a vehicle might not be injured, most outside of a vehicle are usually injured in motor vehicle crashes. When a semi truck is involved, the crash tends to be more serious, but thankfully, semi trucks are involved in a fraction of motor vehicle accidents compared to regular cars. It's also important to note that all crashes includes property damage only, and can include crashes with vehicles that were parked.
One other big problem with this data is that in the vehicles section, "Other and not stated," has fairly large numbers most years. Buses, and School Buses also consistently year to year do have crashes with injuries, as do taxi cabs, farm tractors and etc. 2016 was the last year that Oregon specifically tracked motor vehicle accidents that involved logging trucks, public vehicles, emergency vehicles, and military vehicles.

Deschutes County is a popular destination in Oregon for all sorts of recreation. Trails abound with spectacular vistas. Deschutes County is a prime destination for camping, angling, rafting, skiing, and its a great destination for mountain biking. Of course, there are spas, resorts, wineries, and some great brew pubs and excellent foodie spots too. Bend has a lot of bicycle trails and mountain biking trails close to the city and a pretty fun network of off-road paths for cyclists and walkers.
Sisters has a wealth of cycling including gravel bikeways and mountain biking trails and even shuttles to help you get out and back. There are plenty to choose from begginer to advanced and technical. Mt. Bachelor even has a bike park with lift services in the ski off season, and these trails are more for the intermediate and advanced mountain bike riders.
